Stroke or brain attack is a major cause of death and suffering worldwide, and despite
revolutionary advances in stroke care, there is poor public awareness about prevention,
treatment and rehabilitation of stroke. There is a dire need of a comprehensive stroke program
for the society.
The aim of this program is to reduce the incidence and suffering from Stroke by developing
innovative community based comprehensive multifaceted solutions , focused on effective
prevention through public education and awareness, identification of high risk people,
providing corrective measures for reducing risk of stroke ,empowering medical fraternity to
provide world class treatment at remote places through tele stroke services, ensuring total
rehabilitation through special programs, continuous education, training , research and all round
support for all affected by stroke, or involved in stroke care.We humbly seek your blessings,
guidance and support and invite you to be a part of this unique public health initiative.
