Stroke free life is a charitable community based health program of Raksha foundation Trust , first of its kind in the country under the leadership of Dr. Krishan Avtar , in association with Synergy Hospital Dehradun.This program is meant to reduce the incidence and suffering of Stroke by developing innovative community based comprehensive multifaceted solutions , focused on effective prevention through public education and awareness, identification of high risk people, providing corrective measures for reducing risk of stroke ,empowering medical fraternity to provide world class treatment at remote places through tele-stroke services, ensuring total rehabilitation through special programs, continuous education, training , research and all round support for all affected by stroke, or involved in stroke care.
